How Much Money Can I Make?

Relax The Back franchise has a proven business model that offers high earning potential

For the last 38 years, people have been coming to Relax The Back to buy products that help support an overall sense of well-being and a higher quality of life.

This is exactly the advantage of Relax The Back as a business opportunity. There aren’t a lot of businesses where customers seek you out because they have a very specific problem that needs to be solved. This relationship with our customers is unique – and more importantly, because we sell high-end, specialty products that are vetted, tested, and designed to solve specific problems, the majority of our customers come to us expecting to invest in a premium, high ticket solution.

This is the basis of a business model that has allowed franchise owners to prosper in their communities, many for multiple decades. It’s the same business model that has allowed over 40% of our franchise network to open multiple stores.

“The fact that many of our franchise owners are opening their second, third, and fourth stores really speaks volumes to the strength of our business model and the level of profitability our franchise owners are experiencing,” says Andrew Cohen, President of Relax The Back. “We’ve been in business for 38 years and the demand for our products has continued to increase over the years. As Americans are becoming more and more focused on overall wellness, Relax The Back is well-positioned to increase profitability and better serve our customers going forward.”

High Ticket Items Mean You Don’t Have to Sell A Lot of Products to Be Profitable

While most retail businesses require large amounts of traffic that require selling a lot of low-budget products to be profitable, Relax The Back is the exact opposite. Relax The Back products are specialty items, designed to help improve clients quality of life for years and years. Since most products sold tend to be high-dollar items, you won’t have to sell an abundance of products all day long to own a profitable business.

For example, Relax The Back’s top-selling Tempur-Pedic mattresses range from nearly $1,500 on the low end to around $9,000 on the high end. Our zero-gravity recliners range from over $2,000 all the way to $5,000. Our popular massage chairs are priced as high as nearly $12,000. You receive serious buyers and larger sales.

“Our customers come to us because they’re desperate for a solution that works,” says Glen Word, owner of a Relax The Back franchise in Nashville, TN. “They’re willing to spend money because the value of living a pain-free life is priceless. We take time to educate our customers, win their trust, and follow up with them. I have customers who have been coming back into my store for years. From a business perspective, it also means that I don’t have to sell a product every day to do well. But in this business, money is the perk. I do very well, but nothing compares to being able to help someone live a pain-free life.”

Our E-Commerce Site Helps You Drive Revenue

As more and more of today’s shopping happens online, Relax The Back has invested in a comprehensive online store to benefit franchise owners.

If a customer makes a purchase online, the franchise owner for that territory participates in the profit and handling of the sale. There are also numerous opportunities to co-share sales with corporate and other franchise owners.

“We’ve transitioned our corporate site into a full-blown sales channel to benefit our franchise owners and their customers,” says Saschi Klee, Director of E-Commerce with Relax The Back. “It’s important to service the customer where they feel comfortable purchasing, just as our in-store model works to educate the customer on the products that will deliver the most benefit.”

The Numbers Tell the Story
